A lot of us think we know what we want in life, but until you sit down and start to articulate it, do you realise that maybe you weren’t that clear after all.
My own recent health issue has certainly brought that to light for me especially as I’ve been tracking my own habits and patterns. For the past two and half years I had perimenopausal migraines that originally caused me to have to leave work. It’s been such a personal journey, and I’ve learned more about my body and my habits than I ever could have imagined. My body was in a highly stressed state, I was emotionally eating and drinking, and that my cycle (even though I’ve had a hysterectomy) still affects my mind and body dramatically. Some days, my body didn’t show up for what my mind thought it would.
I’ve learned the value in slowing down in order to speed up and how I need to nourish myself both mentally and physically through awareness, creating boundaries and living more consciously.
During this time I became a yoga teacher and have combined my experience, knowledge and skills to develop the Mind and Body Program to help you create healthier habits and strategies that are more resourceful to help you achieve long term health on your terms with your unique body constitution.
